Graphic & Computer-Aided Design

Design

I have over a decade of experience using Adobe Photoshop and more than five years of experience using InDesign and Illustrator. I am also learning how to use Procreate. Here are a few of my designs.

Identity Design

Selected Designs for Social Media

Wedding Suite

My brother got married in 2020 and I volunteered to do the print work including the invitations, save the dates, and thank you notes. I also designed a couple of other touch-points including a wooden guest book sign and some etched glasses for the wedding party and ornaments for the happy couple and parents..

Systems Design: Invisible Designs Symposium

For my Visual Design for Print and Screen class, we were asked to create an identity for a symposium re-centering those underrepresented in design curriculums. My strategy was to focus primarily on typography and structure and let the work of the artists I was highlighting speak for itself.

Motion Design

For Visual Design for Print and Screen we were asked to select a minute of meaningful dialogue from a piece of existing media. We then spent three weeks working on kinetic typography using principles of motion design to convey meaning.

Tarot Card Time Capsule

For Ideation and Prototyping, we were tasked with creating a time capsule that told a story. Knowing a lot of touchpoints from my life and the story I wanted to tell would be digital, I wanted to find a better form than just piling everything into a box. I settled on a 78-card deck of tarot cards after researching the form and finding that this occult object was originally used as a storytelling card game.
