Book Traveling Thursdays // A Book Featuring Your Dream Job

Book Traveling Thursdays is a weekly feature created by Danielle’s Book Blog and The Girl Who Read Too Much that highlights book covers from around the world. It is now hosted by Lauren at Comma Hangover. For this prompt, I decided to go with Landline by Rainbow Rowell where Georgie McCool is a TV writer. I don’t think I wouldContinue reading “Book Traveling Thursdays // A Book Featuring Your Dream Job”

Summer Reader Book Tag

I found this over at Thrice Read and I thought that I would give it a try. Summer is now in full swing, so this feels like the perfect time to this tag along with a summer-themed song: https://open.spotify.com/track/2SYuIkSdAT3E1ibPDtcon2 Also, a lot of puppy GIFs! Because nothing says summer like puppy gifts.

The Chocolate Book Tag

I found this tag over at Tea, Books & Fun and I thought that I would give it a try. I love chocolate and I couldn’t resist the chance to relate books to this amazing food of the gods. So, here we go. Warning: I may have used some inappropriate GIFs and you may leave thisContinue reading “The Chocolate Book Tag”

Ben & Jerry’s Book Tag

I saw this tag over at That Wild Soul and I thought I would give it a try since its ice cream season! Honestly, we have the most awesome creamery here that has flavors that rival Ben & Jerry’s. It’s only open from April to October so we gorge ourselves on our favorite flavors.

Book Traveling Thursdays is a weekly feature created by Danielle’s Book Blog and The Girl Who Read Too Much that highlights book covers from around the world. This week we’re celebrating back to school with books that take place in high school or college. I haven’t read many books that take place in a high school as of late, butContinue reading “Book Traveling Thursdays // A Book Set in High School or College”

Book Style // Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell (Eleanor)

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell was an impulse buy for me.  I wasn’t sure that I would like it but I was immediately taken in by the misfit protagonists. So naturally, I couldn’t help but style this outfit based on the description of Eleanor.

Book Style // Landline by Rainbow Rowell

Landline by Rainbow Rowell had me imagining the main character, Georgie McCool, from page one. As the book progressed, her laid back, and almost disheveled style inspired me to create this laid back outfit that is perfect for a day in the writer’s room.

Audiobook Review: Landline by Rainbow Rowell

Everyone fantasizes a little about what they would do if they were given a chance to change history. There are so many discussions in pop culture about time travel and its repercussions, and with all of that to contend with Landline by Rainbow Rowell still presents a really unique perspective on the subject. It’s almost ChristmasContinue reading “Audiobook Review: Landline by Rainbow Rowell”

The Diverse Books Tag

I was tagged by Rose over at Rose Read Blog for the Diverse Books tag. The diversity in the book I read, has been something I’ve been conscious of ever since I read this article on Broadly. With that in mind I attempted to find titles that weren’t as widely known, upcoming releases, or books I haveContinue reading “The Diverse Books Tag”
