It’s time for another edition of Book Style! We’re revisiting Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard once again. This time creating a look inspired by Evangeline Samos, the winner of the Queenstrial.
I’ve been thinking about The Girl with All the Gifts by M.R. Carey for a while. Mostly, because I have a rental from iTunes sitting on my account waiting for me to watch it. Anyway, without watching the movie, I tried to imagine what the characters might wear, and this is what I cameContinue reading “Book Style // The Girl With All the Gifts by M.R. Carey”
I am really drawn into the characters from Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard, and one of the big scenes that got me for the main character was when she’s first introduced as Mareena Titanos.

I love historical fiction! This fictionalized account of the romance between Robert Louis Stevenson and his American wife, Fanny van de Grift Osbourne, in Nancy Horan’s Under the Wide and Starry Sky was a great read. Drenched with detail and incredibly atmospheric, it begged to be styled into an outfit.
Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell was an impulse buy for me. I wasn’t sure that I would like it but I was immediately taken in by the misfit protagonists. So naturally, I couldn’t help but style this outfit based on the description of Eleanor.
