WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme that was previously hosted by Should Be Reading and is now hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
To play along you just had to answer the following three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
This week, the audiobook streak continues!
Recently Finished
The audiobook streak continues! I have finished two books. The first is Susannah Cahalan’s Brain on Fire, which is her memoir dealing with a rare form of encephalitis. It’s quite an interesting listen and I am going to give you my full thoughts on it in a review in the next couple weeks.
After I finished Brain on Fire, I started Fredrick Backman’s A Man Called Ove, and it’s a dark comedy if I’ve ever heard of one. I think that this might be one of my favorite audiobiooks this year. I will reevaluate in December.
Currently Reading
I am actively reading two books right now. I am still reading Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult. I am now about halfway through it and hoping to make some serious progress by the weekend.
I picked up A Life in Parts by Bryan Cranston as an audiobook this week as well. I just started it yesterday. Cranston narrates the audiobook and I am really enjoying it so far, even though I’ve only listened to about a half hour.
What Will I Read Next?
It’s now so late in September and I have to get to Before I Knew by Jamie Beck for another book club meeting on Tuesday. Fortunately, this book looks a little lighter so I am hoping if I can finish Small Great Things by the weekend I can pick this up and read it pretty quickly.
After that, I really need to finally read Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng. The amount of reader’s guilt I have for not reading it is overwhelming.
That’s it for this edition of WWW Wednesdays. What are you reading this week? Have you read any of these books?
