WWW Wednesdays 9-13-2017

WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme that was previously hosted by Should Be Reading and is now hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

To play along you just had to answer the following three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Let’s see how this week went.

Recently Finished

This week I finished two books! These reviews will be out in the coming weeks, which feels unusual since I finished both of these on Friday.

The first is a thriller called No One Knows by J.T. Ellison. It’s an interesting story, but I didn’t find it terribly earth shattering.

The Yonahlossee Riding Camp for Girls by Anton DiSclafani is the audiobook I finished this week, and it was also a pretty interesting listen but I had a few problems with it. I will explain more in my review.

Currently Reading

It feels like I am heading for a reading slump if I don’t finish another book soon. Currently, I am reading two books and listening to an audiobook.

I am still reading Small Great Things and I am about a quarter of the way through it. I am liking the story.

Simultaneously, I am also trying to read The Visitors by Catherine Burns! I have been really kind of iffy on thrillers and romance novels lately so I am hoping that this one is as good as I have been hearing with the buzz.

I am almost done with my current audio book Brain on Fire by Susannah Cahalan. I have forty-five minutes left and I am hoping I can finish it tonight.

What Will I Read Next

It’s going to depend largely on how these books end. My next audiobook will probably be You Will Know Me by Megan Abbot, but I am not sure if I want to read two thrillers at the same time. So I may listen to A Man Called Ove by Fredrick Backman instead.

I may not get to select a new book, but the next book on my list is Before I Knew by Jamie Beck! It’s for a book club that meets at the end of the month!

That’s a snapshot of my reading week! What are you reading this week? Any recommendations for what I should read after these?
